Choco-o-holic bulbs
You need this:
For the bulbs:
- a banana, pureed (for carbohydrate-poor: a fresh egg, beaten loose, but then it is no longer vegan)
- 2 large tablespoons of Green Sweet Extra Sweet
- 10 drops Green Sweet liquid stevia chocolate (optional, makes it tastier)
- 425 grams oatmeal flour (grinding oatmeal in the blender into flour
- 1 coffee cup of cocoa nibs (optional, makes it tastier) *
- 1 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon powder
- 75 grams of organic skimmed cocoa powder
- hot water
(* you can also use soaked raisins, or grind cocoa beans briefly in the blender)
For the topping:
- 75 grams of organic skimmed cocoa powder
- hot water
- 15 drops of Green Sweet liquid stevia chocolate or a tablespoon of Green Sweet Extra Sweet
This is how you make it:
Preheat the oven to 185 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Stir all the ingredients for the dumplings in a bowl firmly, add a little water to the mixture until the mass becomes smooth, but keep the mass still scoopable. With bulbs, turn bulbs out of the mass and place on the baking tray. Bake the dumplings in the middle of the oven until about 35-45 minutes, keep checking. Allow the spheres to cool, and cut them in the middle.
Stir the stevia through the cocoa, adding some water until a firm glaze is formed.Prepare the lower parts of the bulbs with the glaze and carefully press the top half. Spread the upper parts with glaze and allow to dry.
