Apple cinnamon crumble
What do you need:
For the apple layer:
- 4 apples
- 1 tablespoon coconut flour
- 1 tablespoon almond flour
- 25 grams of mixed nuts
- ½ tablespoon Green Sweet Sweet cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons of cinnamon
- Pinch of ground cardamom
For the crumble layer:
- 25 grams of almond flour
- 25 grams of oatmeal
- 1 tablespoon Green Sweet Sweet cinnamon
- 1.5 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
This is how you make it:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare a baking dish.
Wash the apples, cut into 4 pieces and remove the core. Choose whether you want to leave the skin around the apple or not. Then cut them into cubes.
Mix the apple cubes in a bowl with 1 tablespoon almond flour, 1 tablespoon coconut flour, 25 grams coarsely chopped mixed nuts, 3 teaspoons cinnamon, a pinch of cardamom and half a tablespoon of Sweet cinnamon. If you want it sweeter add a tablespoon of Sweet cinnamon.
Put the apple mixture in the ovenproof dish.
In another bowl, mix together 25 grams of almond flour, 25 grams of oatmeal, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, a pinch of salt and a tablespoon Sweet cinnamon. Add 1.5 tablespoons of coconut oil (not melted!). Mix all this together with your hands until a crumble dough.
Now sprinkle this shortcrust pastry over the apple mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes in the middle of the oven and enjoy!
This is very tasty both hot and cold.
